APTQI Welcomes New Affiliate Members Mountain Land Physical Therapy and PT Partners
Growing APTQI membership expands advocacy outreach to build support for SAFE Act and protect sector from future Medicare cuts
WASHINGTON – The Alliance for Physical Therapy Quality and Innovation (APTQI) today announced the addition of two new affiliate members on July 1, Mountain Land Physical Therapy and PT Partners. The addition of these provider groups further strengthens APTQI’s commitment to advancing the field of physical therapy through quality care and innovative practices.
“We are excited to welcome Mountain Land Physical Therapy and PT Partners to the APTQI family and look forward to their contributions to our shared mission of promoting high-quality, accessible physical and occupational therapy,” said Nikesh Patel, Executive Director of APTQI. “We are delighted to have two new industry leaders join our advocacy campaigns and ongoing work with regulators and lawmakers to better our sector.”
APTQI proudly welcomes Mountain Land Physical Therapy, a leader in physical therapy services, with 55 clinic locations throughout Utah, Idaho, and Montana. For over 40 years, Mountain Land PT has excelled in providing and managing physical therapy services, offering more than 30 specialty services through a team of board-certified physical therapists. Based in Salt Lake City, Mountain Land PT operates in diverse clinical settings, including skilled nursing facilities, hospitals, transitional care centers, orthopedic outpatient clinics, work sites, and in-home therapy services.
APTQI also extends a warm welcome to PT Partners. Headquartered in Overland Park, Kansas, PT Partners supports physical therapy businesses nationwide by offering expertise in practice management, staffing, value-based programs, equity partnerships, and merger and acquisition management. PT Partners develops and manages physical rehabilitation programs and services across various settings, including outpatient facilities, hospitals, orthopedic specialty facilities, physician specialty centers, provider networks, home health, workers’ compensation programs, prehab programs, and prevention/wellness centers.
“We look forward to working with PT Partners, Mountain Land Physical Therapy, and our entire membership to protect our sector from Medicare cuts and to advocate for vital reforms like the Stopping Addiction and Falls for the Elderly (SAFE) Act (H.R. 7618), which would provide seniors who have fallen in the past year an annual fall risk assessment by a physical or occupational therapist at no cost to them,” added Patel.
