APTQI Welcomes New Affiliate Members PredictionHealth and OneStep
Growing APTQI membership expands advocacy outreach to build support for SAFE Act and protect sector from future Medicare cuts
WASHINGTON – The Alliance for Physical Therapy Quality and Innovation (APTQI) today announced the addition of two new affiliate members, PredictionHealth and OneStep. The addition of these groups further strengthens APTQI’s commitment to advancing the field of physical therapy through quality care and innovative practices.
“We are very excited to welcome PredictionHealth and OneStep to the APTQI community and look forward to their contributions to our shared mission of promoting high-quality, accessible physical and occupational therapy nationwide,” said Nikesh Patel, Executive Director of APTQI. “We are delighted these industry leaders will be supporting our advocacy work with lawmakers and regulators to advance policies that strengthen our sector and enhance patient access to care in the community.”
APTQI proudly welcomes PredictionHealth, an AI analytics platform for physical and occupational therapy clinics to track patterns, reveal hidden insights, and focus less on notes and more on their patients, all while receiving helpful coding and clinical suggestions.
“Rehab therapy is a critical component of the healthcare ecosystem and key to helping patients achieve their best outcomes,” said PredictionHealth CEO, Pedro Teixeira. “Therapists have welcomed us as we’ve learned about industry challenges and built AI-powered tools to help. We’re honored to join APTQI alongside other advocates and leaders to help drive initiatives and innovation that will advance physical therapy’s critical role in healthcare.”
APTQI also welcomes OneStep, a leader in AI-powered motion analysis, transforming physical therapy with smartphone-based technology that captures both active and passive data. This approach provides continuous, real-world insights, helping to personalize treatment, support clinical validation, and reduce fall risk – a key advocacy goal for APTQI with the Stopping Addiction and Falls for the Elderly (SAFE) Act (H.R. 7618).
“Joining APTQI allows us to amplify our mission and collaborate with leaders who share our passion for patient-centered care,” said Patrick Tarnowski, Chief Commercial Officer of OneStep. “We’re excited to work alongside PT organizations to advance clinical care, providing objective clinical validation that supports advocacy efforts. Together, we can establish a common vital sign across the care continuum – gait – ensuring every patient has the support they need to live a healthier, more active life.”
