APTQI Welcomes Therapy Partners Group
Therapy Partners Group Expands APTQI’s Advocacy Footprint Across 7 States
WASHINGTON – The Alliance for Physical Therapy Quality and Innovation (APTQI) is pleased to announce Therapy Partners Group (TPG) as its newest member as of April 1. As a member of APTQI, TPG will support the coalition’s efforts to advance positive legislative and regulatory change to support physical therapy professionals and patients across the U.S. Together, TPG and APTQI will work to promote advocacy around preserving Medicare funding for physical, occupational, and speech therapy providers and to position physical therapy as a safe, patient-preferred approach to addressing injury, chronic pain, and restricted mobility.
“We are committed to protecting access to quality physical and occupational therapy for all who need care and advocating for our profession’s financial and long-term stability,” said Kim Kollwelter, COO of TPG. “APTQI’s mission to place the value of physical and occupational therapy at the front of our healthcare system, and in decision-makers’ minds, is essential. We are happy to be an additional voice in their efforts.”
TPG is a family of physical therapy and wellness brands that helps practice owners and therapy professionals grow through collaboration, teamwork, and clinical support. TPG provides rehabilitation therapy services for patients across multiple settings, including skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, outpatient clinics, and home health agencies, and offers a range of rehabilitation services to work and develop personalized care plans with patients. With more than 140 clinics in seven states, TPG will help expand APTQI’s advocacy footprint in Arizona, California, Nevada, Oregon, Texas, Utah, and Washington.
“We look forward to working with TPG as we advocate for stability and predictability across the physical therapy provider community. Preserving patient access requires a team of dedicated companies and individuals committed to improving patient outcomes and access. We’re excited to have TPG as part of APTQI and engaging their team in our federal advocacy campaigns,” said Nikesh Patel, PT, Executive Director of APTQI.
APTQI’s collective membership now represents more than 6,000 physical and occupational therapy clinics across all 50 U.S. states.
